As you’ve seen before on a previous post about the High Roller, I love getting lost in Las Vegas and enjoying the good times. And that usually means spending some money.

I recently visited Las Vegas and as much as gambling and eating everything was fun (Fat Tuesdays and Buffets for everyone), we were on a budget and wanted to have a fun, relaxing Vegas trip.

Top Five Free Things to do in VEGAS

So I have gathered my top five list of fun free things to do in Las Vegas!

Fat Tuesday and Earl of Sandwich - love them, but can get pricy!

1. Walk the Stip!

This is a must, even on a hot day like the end of June in Vegas where it can reach over 100 degrees in the day time, but walking the Las Vegas strip is always a must. And even better, it’s free to just sightsee. Don’t forget to see it at night, it’s even more gorgeous with all the casinos and hotels lit up!

2. Poolside

In the summer it is hotter than balls in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dry-heat-galor means the best thing to do is be poolside sipping on a favorite drink (that drink may cost some money though). But almost every hotel has an amazing pool to sit by and enjoy. And if you want to be daring, you can possibly sneak into the different hotel pools because every hotel has a different theme to their pools.

3. Go inside each casino and look at the different artwork and themes they hold

At the bellagio

Exactly as it sounds, as you walk the strip don’t forget to go inside the casinos that are attached and check out the cool themes they have going on. Like in the Bellagio hotel and casino they have the Chihuly Ceiling and it’s such a cool thing to look at, not to mention the different garden themes they hold inside.

4. Fremont Street

Now I haven’t been to Fremont Street since I was younger, but I hear it’s a cool thing to experience and walk through. Especially at night when they hold their light show on their ‘Space Frame’.

5. Take a picture at the Las Vegas sign

So cliche, but still so great. It’s free and fun to see. There may be a line to take a picture in front of it, but you can’t beat that original sign that welcomes you into the fabulous Las Vegas!

What are some of your favorite things to do in Las Vegas? Comment below! I will definitely do a more extensive list of fun things to do in Vegas, but this is definitely a top five favorite!

Cheers!
