Recommendations

Hello, My LWY Babes!

I wanted to create this recommendations page so it was quick and easy to find my recommended products, services and companies that I use and/or think that will be of great value for you. I made this as a way for you to find all the great products and services all in one place, a lot I use almost on a daily. This will help any person in their blogging journey, any writer looking to publish their novels and even help in your every day life!

Disclosure: There are affiliate links below, and I may receive commissions for purchases made through links in this post. These are all products I highly recommend. I won’t put anything on this page that I haven’t verified and/or personally used. You can find my disclaimer policy here and my disclosure policy here.

Without further ado, here is my recss page for all you lovely people! If you have anything that I might find valuable for the future feel free to contact me here!

Blog Help

Bluehost – Number one thing almost every and any blogger recommends to people is to self host your blog. I use Bluehost and have been with them for over four years. I have not had one complaint with them and they have deals for hosting options all the time. You can start a blog and get self-hosted for as low as $3.95 today! Just click on my link here and you start your blogging journey today!

MailerLite – I use this for email marketing because another thing a lot of bloggers recommend is starting an email list. You get your first 1000 subsribers free for Mailerlite and it’s easy to use!

Courses & Ebooks for blogging

Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing – Michelle’s course is so great for affiliate marketing. I learned so much from her and she makes over 1 million on her blog yearly and almost half is coming from Affiliate Marketing. SO if there is one person to trust on teaching you the right way to do Affiliate Marketing it’s definitely Michelle! Check out her course, you won’t regret it!

Making Sense of Sponsored Posts – As you can tell I’m I find great trust in Michelle’s courses. She recently made this course with her sister Alexis and they share with everyone about how to land sponsored posts and start monetizing your blog! Barely halfway through the course and I’d already learned more about sponsored posts than trying to research it on my own. But you should see for yourself here!

The She Approach to Boosting Your Blog Traffic Ebook – I stumbled upon Ana through another blogger recommending her Pinterest guide (see below). When I bought the Pinterest Ebook, I couldn’t help but also want to learn how to boost my traffic. And I was not disappointed with her book. It’s a cheap ebook and provides so much value that I can’t recommend enough. Get it here today!

How to Create an Online Course – Yuwanda Black writes for Inkwell Editorial. I first got her writing romance ebook, which helped with my writing my current ebooks. And recently she put out this ecourse on how to make an ecourse! And I’m hooked. I’ve been thinking about making my own ecourse, so learning from her straight forward, detailed and actionable steps have been great help for me to launch my ecourse! Definitely check it out if you’re looking to start your own!

Pinterest

Tailwind – The number one Pinterest resource so many people recommend. And I can see why. It helps save you so much time on pinning and since Pinterest really helps with blog traffic, this is great. And their Tailwind Tribes are worth looking at for sure.

Making Pinterest Possible – This was the first ebook I got from Ana from The She Approach. And it’s a GREAT book. She goes into such good detail about how to make Pinterest work for you. She updates it as well, which I find so great!

Pinterest with Ell – I recently found Ell, and she has been great! She runs Boss Girl Bloggers, and she made this e-course and it’s only $20! I’ve only implemented some of the information she put in her course and I more than tripled my Pinterest views! And for that low of a cost, it’s worth more than it’s priced for sure!

Money Saving and Making Apps

Ibotta – I use this app almost every time I grocery shop. And it’s actually great. They have bonuses that can make you money on top of what you already made on buying the item. So that makes it even cooler. And if you sign up with my link, you can get up to $20 as Welcome Bonus!

Ebates This one I use for online exclusively. And it really is a great app to use. So many different retailers, plus if you use my link, then you can get a $10 bonus for signing up and using Ebates! Hello free money!

Inbox Dollars I’ve actually gotten checks from Inbox Dollars. You hear about survey sites all over and this one does pay, and is not so bad. I use this, not only for surveys, but you can watch videos, search the web, all sorts of other things to help make a few bucks here and there.

Writing / Self-publishing

Draft2Digital – This IS the main website I use to make my Ebooks. It’s easy to use and has a lot of distributors as well. I use this to sell my books on iBooks, and it’s one of my higher paying distributors to date.

Kindle Direct PublishingAmazon all the way. If your book isn’t on Amazon, what are you doing?

Barnes & Noble Press – I’m all about going through all outlets. And while, this is still probably my least earning distributor, who knows, it might blow up later.

How to Make Money Writing Romance Ebook – I referenced her book a lot. And it’s great. I really recommend it for any self-publishers out there. She also has a full blown writing romance E-course that she only opens up a few times a year. You can take her free e-course here for the time being. But I love her stuff and she gives great detailed information!

Heart Breathings Youtube I LOVE YouTube. So finding a YouTube channel that gives you actual advice on how to be a writer and self-publisher, was the best find ever on YouTube. I’m super happy I found this. It’s been great watching her series. I’ve learned a lot from her channel for sure.

Self-Editing for Fiction Writers – This is by far the best book purchase ever. When I went into writing fictional novels, I was researching editors and holy s***. They come with a price tag, for sure. So I knew, at least for now, that I needed to be my own editor. So when I found this book, I felt like the gods above bestowed this for me, for my writing journey. I still have a lot to learn and I’m definitely no editor, but for anyone with a zero budget starting their self-publishing journey, this is THE book to get!
